This élégant necklace gently glides along your body line and ends in a splash of crystals.

. Using a yard of thread and leaving a 6" tail, make an 81/:" length of peyote stitch 4 bugle beads wide. When you reach 8/:", start beading 2-beads wide (Figure 1) on the right side for 3". Create the strip so that the "up" bead is on the right as you look at the thin strip pointing up. Exit from the second-to-last bead added.

Repeat Step 1. This will be called Strap 2.

Make sure you have at least an 8" working thread on Strap 1. Use the thread of the longer 2-bead-wide length on Strap 1 to string one 3mm, one 6mm, one 3mm, one 6mm, one 3mm, one 6mm, one 3mm. Pass through the middle of the longer length on Strap 2 (Figure 2). Exit at the center of Strap 2.

Start another thread at the spot you began doing 2-bead-wide peyote stitch. Weave your thread to the beads on the open side and

String one 3mm, one 6mm, one 3mm, one 6mm, one 3mm, one 6mm, one 3mm, one 6mm, and one 3mm. Pass through the middle of Strap 1 (Figure 2).
